Hello! I’m Amanda (she/hers).

I’m a natural light photographer and digital content creator currently based in Wiesbaden, Germany. Check out my photography portfolio here.

Photography has always been a creative way for me to preserve memories of my loved ones, adventures, profound life moments, interesting places, and things I cherish.

My passion for photography and writing, along with an interest in news writing, led me to study Journalism in college. I graduated from the University of Hawai`i at Mānoa (UH Mānoa) in the Spring of 2015 with a B.A. in Journalism (strongly focused in Photojournalism) and a Certificate in Women’s Studies.

During my junior year of college, I worked as a student intern at the University of Hawaiʻi John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM) in the Office of Public Relations and Communications. After earning my degree, I continued working at JABSOM as part of the PR & Communications team until August 2017. Working at JABSOM ignited my passion for photojournalism – this is where I developed my skills as a writer, and learned how to professionally capture, compose, and tell stories through compelling photography and video.

In August 2017, my husband and I relocated to Boulder, Colorado where I continued working in higher education and nonprofit Communications, Marketing, Development, Photography, and Social Media Management. While living in Colorado, I continued photographing small weddings, surprise proposals, and portraits.

In December 2022 I moved to Augusta, GA.

In my free time you’ll find me exploring the great outdoors, rock climbing, hanging out with my husband and our two tuxedo cats, dabbling in 35 mm film photography, and making fabric arts.
