On Sunday, October 21, 2018, 97.3 KBCO was recognized as the “Local Legend” at Boulder County AIDS Project’s (BCAP) 2018 Local Legends Gala. “Local Legend” is an honorary titled awarded to those who greatly contribute to the Agency and it’s services to the community.

Since 1992, 97.3 KBCO has generously and continuously supported BCAP each year with proceeds from their annual KBCO Studio C CD sale. The radio station has additionally supported BCAP by raising awareness about HIV and AIDS; promoting BCAP’s services and events; and creating visibility for BCAP and the Agency mission, by “reaching the ears and hearts of community listeners.”
